Library Loot (March 27 to April 2)

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Claire from The Captive Reader and Sharlene from Real Life Reading that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post-feel free to steal the button-and link it using the Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries.

Happy Wednesday! What did you get from your library this week?

Here’s my latest library loot:

Cleat Cute – Meryl Wilsner

Honestly, that title is a bit of a groaner but it does catch your attention, and effectively sums up what the story is about – two soccer players and a romance.

Mater 2-10 – Hwang Sok-yong, translated from the Korean by Sora Kim-Russell, Youngjae Josephine Bae

Longlisted for the International Booker Prize, this is an epic tale about 3 generations of railroad workers in Korea, starting from the Japanese colonial era.

Snowglobe – Soyoung Park, translated from the Korean by Joungmin Lee Comfort

Life in a snowglobe of sorts – enclosed under a vast dome, Snowglobe is the last place on Earth that’s warm.
